Pyramid Head is possibly the best known character in the entire Silent Hill franchise even recently, in the asymmetrical horror game Dead By Daylight, reappeared again as a DLC character. Also, the idea of a creature approaching you from below is also chilling. Behind them there is nothing, just an eerie void that makes them even worse. At the end of the game, when James confronts Mary, at first he appears in his human form, but later he turns into a horrible corpse monster, which is suspended in the air. This does not mean that it is not scary, because it is but there are worse ones. Although she is the final boss of Silent Hill 2, Mary - in our opinion - is not the worst in the game.
